About Us
La Garderie was born from my dream to bring high-quality, beautifully designed early years care to Gravesend. Originally from France, with over a decade of experience in nurseries, therapy, and public health, I blends French educational values with the best of British care.
As a mum of four, I saw the need for a nurturing, creative space where children can thrive and set out to create it herself.
At La Garderie, we believe every child deserves a beautiful beginning. Inspired by French elegance and built with purpose, our nursery is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support families from day one.

La Garderie Fees
The tables below show fees by age group and indicate whether sessions are funded (with KCC Early Years Funding) or unfunded.
Sessions
Fees are charged monthly based on the number of sessions booked. A minimum of 4 sessions per week is required. Morning and afternoon sessions are equal in length and quality. Additional ad hoc sessions (occasional, one-off bookings) may be arranged, subject to availability.
Session fees are subject to change.
Registration Fees
Our pre-registration fee is £80 and is non-refundable.
We require a deposit of £350 to secure your child’s place. We cannot accept deposit payments through Tax-Free Childcare.
The deposit will be refunded at the end of your contract, provided you give one month’s notice and there are no outstanding amounts owed.
Applying for Funding
Parents must apply for government funding and provide the nursery with their 11-digit eligibility code. Visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check eligibility and apply, including for Tax-Free Childcare.
